The Fire Phoenix

The Phoenix – a master of the realm of transformation – carries our prayers. Bridging the worlds of seen and unseen, creation and destruction, human and nature, it unifies by bringing us into pure presence. As a representation of the Spirit of the Earth merged with the Heart of Humanity, the Phoenix carries a message of love.

Inspired by Nature, it is utterly unique, a masterpiece of shamanic art crafted by various artists’ hands and hearts. With 15 flames on its mythical body, the visual impact is delightful and the dance a mesmorising enactment of union with the Divine. As we witness the rise of the Spirit Bird, we connect to the song of our hearts.

As a distinctive creation, the Fire Pheonix took almost 3 years to come together with the input of many beautiful humans from all over the globe. Conceptualised by Selah, the design and leather work was masterfully crafted by Alicia Boshoff (Mystic Tribe – South Africa), the fire crown was made Sebastian Zimmermann (Fire and Flow – Germany), precisely adjusted and put together by Halen Ray (Pyrophernalia – Cape Town) and the antlers were gifted by a jolly old man in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Forest Spirit exudes goodness and grace, wholeness and clarity, receptivity and aliveness, witnessing and prayer. It brings potency, wonder and joy to any ceremony, ritual or gathering. This performance offers a strong and open-hearted presence to all who witness.
